Risk, Compliance & Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Enhance, develop, and refine operational processes within Risk, Compliance, and Operations by utilizing AI to streamline workflows and automate processes, thereby improving efficiency and operational scalability.

β€’ Assist in key compliance and operations projects, including asset listing and market surveillance.

β€’ Aid in the implementation of the Risk Management Framework by identifying, documenting, and managing risks.

β€’ Support the lifecycle management of outsourcing service providers in accordance with regulatory standards.

β€’ Facilitate the comprehensive execution of EU MiCAR and other regulatory projects and product launches, coordinating efforts across Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams.

β€’ Assist in the preparation of materials for the Board and Committees, including regulatory updates, operational management information, outsourcing oversight reports, and strategic initiatives for regulated entities.

β€’ Prepare executive and Board-level reports that translate regulatory, operational, and commercial developments into clear insights on risk, performance, and strategy for senior leadership and non-executive directors.

β€’ Engage with cross-functional teams to influence decisions that align with the entity's strategic goals.

β€’ Lead and work on strategic cross-functional projects, such as license applications.

β€’ Support commercial and product teams in comprehending MiCAR requirements and opportunities when creating new offerings.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 2–3 years of experience in consulting, financial services, strategy, or operations, preferably within financial services, fintech, or the cryptocurrency sector.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with a focus on commercial or regulatory aspects.

β€’ Commercially savvy; effectively connects regulatory compliance with business growth and customer trust.

β€’ Works with a consulting mindset: structured, analytical, and action-oriented.

β€’ Thrives in uncertain environments and transitions quickly from concept to execution.

β€’ Collaborative, humble, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders.

β€’ Enthusiastic about cryptocurrency, innovation, and responsible scaling within regulated contexts.

β€’ Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks such as EMRs, MiCAR, MiFID II, PSD2, AMLD5/6, DORA, etc.
