• Offer compliance advice and support tailored for businesses with a franchisee focus.
• Collaborate with the senior team to communicate necessary changes to business practices for franchisees to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and assist in implementation.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with franchisees.
• Assist franchisees and the business with ad-hoc compliance inquiries.
• Evaluate and approve marketing materials intended for franchisees.
• Identify and report compliance issues or breaches, overseeing corrective actions.
• Monitor and confirm that regulatory filings are submitted accurately and punctually.
• Implement risk and compliance training across the organization.
• Partner with the Head of Risk and Compliance to prepare internal reports for bodies such as the Group Risk Committee and EXCOs.
• Participate in relevant internal meetings to provide insights and support on risk and compliance matters.
• Oversee significant contracts, including Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs) and Delegated Authorities.
• Facilitate the integration of new businesses into the Group.
• Conduct due diligence and onboarding processes for new businesses joining the Coversure Network.
• Demonstrated experience in Risk & Compliance within the insurance industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory obligations pertaining to insurance broking.
• Proficient in establishing and nurturing relationships with franchisees.
• Experience in providing risk and compliance training effectively.
• Exceptional communication and advisory capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
