Risk and Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate in audit preparation and readiness initiatives while addressing audit inquiries.

• Assist partner banks with regulatory examinations and due diligence requirements.

• Create policies and procedures and establish a centralized governance structure.

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, propose improvements, and engage in constructive challenges.

• Oversee enterprise training materials and ensure their timely completion.

• Keep track of regulatory developments that may impact LeafLink, its subsidiaries, and partner banks.

• Prepare Board-level reports on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and various metrics.

• Perform enterprise risk assessments and identify gaps through analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in a risk and compliance role within a high-growth setting; experience in fintech or cannabis banking is a bonus.

• Proven experience in drafting and managing libraries of policies and procedures; familiarity with governance infrastructure is advantageous.

• Background in managing regulatory examinations and audits; experience in this area is a plus.

• Capability to recognize relevant regulatory and industry changes and transform them into clear, actionable items.

• Experience in performing gap analyses and risk assessments.

• Understanding of KPIs, KRIs, and other metrics for reporting; experience in Board-level reporting is a bonus.

• CRCM certification is considered a plus.
