• Conduct investigations and design strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue cycle metrics and overall effectiveness.
• Implement, design, and offer support for business and administrative analytics within revenue cycle operational areas.
• Create reports featuring KPIs, metrics, data points, and formulas to align with management goals.
• Assess how processes can be synchronized with best practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Analyze financial and revenue cycle performance data to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in healthcare claims, particularly in identifying insurance underpayments and revenue recovery.
• Highly analytical with exceptional reconciliation experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with both commercial and government healthcare reimbursement methodologies is essential.
• Strong understanding of hospital billing and managed care processes.
• Advanced technical skills, particularly in Excel, are required.
• At least three years of experience in data or financial analysis is mandatory; five years of experience is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is essential, with a preference for those from a Physician Practice background.
• Proficiency in Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle management is necessary.
