
Revenue Specialist II – Revenue Setup

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Conduct research and implement modifications to system architecture for insurance setup objects, facilitating revenue generation and claims processing for billing.
• Integrate and address intricate payer contract specifications within DaVita’s systems.
• Provide responses to inquiries from internal teams regarding contracts, revenue, plan management, and billing attributes.
• Execute responsibilities within the revenue operations department pertaining to contract management, revenue management, or insurance plan management, which includes creating billing templates.
• Engage with insurance payers to grasp network coverage, relationships, and contract details to guarantee prompt and precise reimbursement for dialysis services delivered at our clinics.
• Manage requests from payers, partners, and customers to ensure accurate loading of center and payer data into the billing system, including single patient agreements.
• Respond promptly and accurately to communications and bulletins from payers.
• Collaborate with other teams in revenue operations to ensure efficient processes across departments.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities for ongoing enhancements.
• Consistently update system setup attributes, which includes new technology and charge master items.
• Uphold the confidentiality of all company and patient data in compliance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
• Comprehend how setup objects, contract requirements, payer specifications, and system logic interconnect within the billing system by gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data from source systems.
• Participate in team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as scheduled.
• May be required to work overtime as needed.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in Revenue Operations or interacting with various healthcare insurance payers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is required.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to adapt swiftly and manage stress effectively.
