This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Oversee inventory for multiple clients, managing a range of accounts with intricate denials.
• Address new and priority accounts within 48 business hours.
• Tackle aged and high-value accounts as needed to guarantee effective revenue cycle recovery.
• Handle accounts that necessitate in-depth review by the coding and utilization departments.
• Detect and resolve denials to ensure prompt payment for clients.
• Prepare and submit appeals with the necessary documentation in a timely manner.
• Employ professional notation that is clear, succinct, and thorough throughout the intricate claim resolution process.
• Foster professional relationships and maintain communication with patients and payer representatives.
• Acquire and implement client-specific protocols and procedures.
• Exhibit proficiency with web portals, client systems, and databases as needed to document and resolve accounts.
• Recognize recent payer resolution trends and communicate them to colleagues.
• Proactively discuss questions and concerns with the supervisor for resolution.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• Claims experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
• Capability to multi-task, think critically, prioritize, and solve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
