This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulations, policies, and procedures regarding medical billing.

• Assess systems and processes to pinpoint potential compliance challenges.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to address these challenges.

• Act as the internal expert for inquiries related to billing.

• Facilitate training on appropriate billing practices.

• Partner with various departments to guarantee billing compliance.

• Develop and execute both short- and long-term plans and objectives aimed at enhancing billing, coding, denial/rejection, and appeal processes.

• Oversee and improve the revenue cycle process, ensuring precise and timely billing, coding, and reimbursement.

• Conduct revenue data analysis, identify trends, and create reports to aid in decision-making and enhance revenue capture.

• Establish strategies to boost revenue capture, minimize denials, and enhance overall revenue cycle efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business, Finance, or over 5 years of equivalent experience in healthcare.

• More than five years of management experience in a healthcare environment.

• Strong coaching and development capabilities, with the ability to organize team activities productively and lead effectively with skills in time and project management.

• Proficiency in researching projects using primary sources when necessary, such as CMS, HRSA, AHCA, etc.

• Experience with medical payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and third-party administrators.

• Understanding of insurance procedures, reimbursement guidelines, and claim filing processes.

• High comfort level working in a diverse environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, VISIO, Word, PowerPoint).
