This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take charge of and expand our insurance revenue cycle.
β’ Oversee insurance verification, claims management, and credentialing across various markets.
β’ Manage the metrics that influence financial performance and establish scalable processes.
β’ Direct a team that consists of a billing manager, verification specialists, claims personnel, and team leaders.
β’ Handle comprehensive revenue cycle management: verification, coding support, claim submission, payment posting, accounts receivable and denial management, as well as patient collections.
β’ Provide regular KPI reports to leadership, including net collection rate, days in accounts receivable, denial and rejection rates, clean claim rate, and aging.
β’ Document and standardize workflows, develop training systems, and create standard operating procedures for consistent performance.
β’ Manage and nurture in-house verification and claims staff; establish structure and capacity as we grow.
β’ Maintain relationships with outsourced billing partners β overseeing performance, service level agreements, auditing their results, and conducting in-house audits.
β’ Launch revenue cycle operations in new markets.
β’ A minimum of 5 years in dental or healthcare revenue cycle management, with a proven record of overseeing the entire cycle (not limited to billing or verifications).
β’ Demonstrated success in stabilizing, building, or scaling revenue cycle management operations β preferably across multiple locations within a DSO, MSO, or multi-site group.
β’ Strong expertise in dental and medical insurance: verification and claims for PPO, HMO, and Medicaid; coding; and handling denials and appeals.
β’ Skilled in process development: you have documented workflows, created training materials, and implemented metrics and accountability systems β rather than merely operating within an existing framework.
β’ Experienced people leader: adept at managing and developing distributed or remote teams.
β’ Data-driven: comfortable taking ownership of KPIs and utilizing them to drive enhancements.
