Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly closing procedures.

• Manage accounting for outbound revenue initiatives.

• Assess and document technical accounting conclusions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.

• Create, document, and improve revenue accounting processes.

• Lead efforts for process enhancements and automation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in revenue accounting, including a background in public accounting.

• In-depth knowledge and practical application of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 & ASC 340).

• Experience with intricate revenue arrangements, ideally within a SaaS or subscription-based business model.

• Proven track record in evaluating, documenting, and conveying technical accounting conclusions.

• Capacity to implement process improvements using automation and creative solutions.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
