This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the complete cycle (A-Z) of operations for a portfolio of 401(k) and cross-tested retirement plans.
• Conduct compliance testing including ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4).
• Manage year-end valuations and analyze plan documents.
• Handle participant transactions such as loans, hardships, and distributions.
• Prepare and submit IRS/government forms including 5500, 8955, and 5330.
• Reconcile plan assets and execute trust accounting responsibilities.
• Propose and assess plan design modifications to maintain compliance and enhance client satisfaction.
• Engage with clients on plan administration matters with clarity and professionalism.
• Utilize internal systems and technology to optimize processes and enhance accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, ideally within a TPA setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with ERISA regulations.
• Experience with Datair software is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with robust math and accounting abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, remote work environment.
• ASPPA credentials (or currently pursuing) are highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
