This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee complete plan operations (A-Z) for a portfolio of 401(k) and cross-tested retirement plans.

• Conduct compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4).

• Manage year-end valuations and analyze plan documents.

• Handle participant transactions such as loans, hardships, and distributions.

• Prepare and submit IRS/government forms like 5500, 8955, and 5330.

• Reconcile plan assets and perform trust accounting duties.

• Import and oversee census and participant data management.

• Suggest and assess plan design modifications to maintain compliance and ensure client satisfaction.

• Engage with clients regarding plan administration matters with professionalism and clarity.

• Utilize internal systems and technology to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, ideally within a TPA setting.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and testing criteria.

• Familiarity with ERISA regulations.

• Proficient in Relius software (preferred).

• Effective communicator with excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and accounting capabilities.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, remote work environment.

• ASPPA credentials (or in progress) are highly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
