Retirement Administration Data Manager – Defined Benefit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a team of data professionals while providing coaching, mentoring, and training to guarantee high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.

• Supervise the processing and management of client pension data, which includes ongoing data feeds and pension payroll file transmissions.

• Oversee data conversion initiatives for new client implementations and specialized projects, ensuring accurate data migration, validation, and integration.

• Manage the provision of annual actuarial valuation extracts, ad hoc reporting requests, data updates, and other processing needs specific to clients.

• Establish, uphold, and enforce data governance standards while identifying and implementing process enhancements and system improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of training, mentoring, and overseeing junior data analysts.

• Practical experience with defined benefit pension plan provisions.

• Expertise in pension systems, including the ability to translate and manipulate HRIS and financial data to facilitate successful retirement data conversions.

• Technical proficiency, which includes advanced Excel skills (such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables) and SQL capabilities.

• Strong understanding of data structure and organization, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve complex data challenges.

• Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills, including basic project management abilities.

• Robust logical and critical thinking skills.

• Effective communication abilities, including skills for client-facing interactions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
