This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct scheduled diabetic eye examinations and retinal screenings for members at healthcare provider locations.
• Travel to healthcare provider sites and patient residences for scheduled eye examination appointments.
• Utilize company-issued retinal imaging technology.
• Assist in closing eye examination and related quality gaps.
• Complete comprehensive company training prior to independently conducting examinations.
• Maintain proficiency through continuous training.
• Oversee daily scheduling of eye examination appointments.
• Confirm appointments with both healthcare practices and patients.
• Organize travel logistics.
• Develop and sustain relationships with colleagues, clients, healthcare providers, payers, and care teams.
• Perform tasks that support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success.
• Engage virtually with team members and partners on days that do not involve appointments.
• Willingness and capability to travel daily, up to 100%, to healthcare provider locations.
• No previous experience in eye examinations or imaging is necessary; comprehensive training and equipment will be provided.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• An associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare-related systems or applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with management, colleagues, clients, healthcare providers, payers, and care teams.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Qualified candidates must reside in the Philadelphia, PA area.
• Certification or licensure as a healthcare professional, such as CMA or LPN, is preferred.
