
Resource Planning and Readiness Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the Resource Plan review, validation, and approval process prior to staffing.
• Confirm proposed roles, required skills, staffing assumptions, and effort estimations.
• Secure necessary approvals from Practice Leaders, including those for multi-cloud and cross-practice plans.
• Ensure Resource Plans are aligned with Salesforce forecasts, estimators, and updates on opportunities.
• Recognize changes in scope, forecast discrepancies, specialty skill needs, contractor demands, and capacity requirements.
• Assess opportunities for staffing readiness and verify that resource requirements align with delivery scope.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Delivery, Practice Leadership, Operations, and Resource Management to clarify staffing necessities and risks.
• Track pipeline health and pinpoint staffing risks before they impact delivery schedules.
• Convene with Resource Management to discuss pipeline readiness, priorities, risks, and demand.
• Initiate background checks for consultants or fulfill other pre-deployment requirements as necessary.
• Assist Resource Management throughout the staffing process by maintaining accurate and up-to-date opportunity information.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in resource management, staffing, deployment, workforce planning, or professional services operations within a consulting or technology services organization.
• Preferably experienced in the Salesforce ecosystem or similar software and technology services environments.
• Familiarity with the Salesforce platform and the professional services delivery lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of resource planning, capacity management, and staffing processes within professional services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce consulting roles and the associated technical skill sets.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence Directors and senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a growing organization with changing processes.
