This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and maintain precise schedules for CT, MRI, and other imaging personnel across various locations, ensuring adequate shift coverage while taking into account skill mix and seniority.
• Assign staff based on specialist competencies, such as CT Cardiac, MR Cardiac, and training requirements; keep staff skill profiles updated.
• Evaluate referral volumes and modality capacity to anticipate staffing needs, adjust plans for peak demand, and minimize patient wait times.
• Factor in travel durations and site accessibility when creating schedules; enhance deployment to limit unnecessary travel and downtime.
• Collaborate with the Service Delivery Coordinator to integrate maintenance into scheduling.
• Ensure that rotas adhere to working time regulations, contractual commitments, and health and safety standards.
• Assist with timesheet management in partnership with the finance team.
• Coordinate with modality leads, clinical managers, and operational teams to address conflicts and confirm coverage.
• Provide prompt updates regarding staffing changes.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify any gaps or inefficiencies.
• Report on key performance indicators including rota accuracy, staff utilization, and turnaround times.
• Suggest improvements for scheduling and resource allocation processes.
• Aid in the implementation of new workforce planning tools or systems.
• Maintain precise records of staff availability, leave, and training schedules.
• Utilize workforce management software and Excel for planning and reporting purposes.
• Comply with ISO 9001:2015 and support the company’s Quality Management System.
• Background in a multi-site or mobile imaging service setting.
• Experience in rota planning.
• Understanding of NHS compliance standards.
• Proficient in Excel and workforce management tools.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Skills in negotiation and persuasive communication.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
