This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Provide guidance to partners regarding opportunities in Production Management, Depletion Management, and Area Development Planning.
• Oversee essential activities within a unified group of bp and partner subsurface personnel.
• Maintain continuous collaboration with other departments and the India Shareholding team.
• Foster a robust safety culture and acknowledge the HSE implications in all operations.
• Evaluate and merge well and reservoir data to enhance the team's existing knowledge.
• Offer daily assistance in the execution and operationalization of the rig and rigless activity strategy.
• Perform traditional reservoir engineering analyses and implement reservoir engineering principles.
• Deliver technical support and advice in developing the reservoir depletion strategy.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or a related applied science discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer.
• Strong grasp of reservoir analysis fundamentals, including pressure transient analysis, decline curve analysis, and material balance.
• Relevant experience in classical reservoir engineering, focusing on Reservoir Management, Reservoir Performance, and Analytical Reservoir Engineering processes.
• Familiarity with classical RE toolkits such as PETEX IPM and Kappa (Saphir).
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with a proven history of sharing insights.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and swiftly adapting to shifting business priorities.
• Proficient in handling tight deadlines and adaptable prioritization.
