Reservations Assistant – Tourism

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Interact with customers through phone, email, WhatsApp, and reservation platforms.

• Provide details regarding availability, pricing, types of accommodations, promotions, and lodging policies.

• Create, modify, monitor, and cancel reservations using internal systems and partner platforms.

• Oversee reservations on Booking, Decolar, Omnibees, and the HITS App.

• Track daily reservation intake, pending items, and integration issues between systems.

• Update rates, room availability, and payment methods on sales platforms.

• Block and unblock rooms based on operational requirements.

• Maintain current hotel information, including photos, descriptions, policies, and maintenance periods.

• Assist in setting and updating rates according to demand and commercial strategies.

• Monitor sales and occupancy metrics, providing suggestions for enhancement.

• Manage payments, credit card transactions, cancellations, and refund processes.

• Prepare quotes and estimates for groups and tour operators.

• Verify reservations to ensure accurate processing of information.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies between reservation platforms and internal systems.

• Help resolve operational challenges related to reservation tools.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and the overall customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Experience in customer service and reservation management within the tourism industry.

• Familiarity with reservation systems such as Infotravel, Omnibees, and Apogeu.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
