Research Scientist III – Data Analyst, Fire Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine emergency response data to identify trends and formulate solutions.

• Generate preliminary findings and create written reports along with data visualizations.

• Collaborate closely with FSRI leadership and researchers to analyze data.

• Develop reusable data products and establish standardized data models.

• Present research findings internally or externally as required.

• Plan, design, and execute tests to validate results.

• Work in partnership with students and various teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, along with 8+ years of professional experience.

• Master’s degree in the same fields with 4+ years of work experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of work experience will also be considered.

• Proficient in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing.

• Experience in designing interactive dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations.

• Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and modern data analysis libraries.

• Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics environments (AWS, Snowflake, Dash).
