This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Create, develop, and sustain algorithms for geometry processing and simulations tailored for engineering purposes.
• Develop services aimed at reading, processing, and producing 2D/3D engineering data.
• Create rendering modules for the production of 2D/3D visual assets.
• Organize and supervise extensive datasets for machine learning systems.
• Execute and enhance post-training workflows for machine learning models.
• Play a role in creating domain-specific languages pertinent to engineering tasks.
• A minimum of 5 years of academic or industry experience in one or more of the following fields: Geometric Processing, Simulation, Optimization, Machine Learning, or Domain-Specific Languages.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Skilled in writing clean, modular, and easily maintainable Python code.
• Experience in dataset creation and the development of data pipelines.
• PhD or MS with specialization in Computational Design, Simulation, or AI.
• Background in developing CAD/CAM/CAE software tools.
• Familiarity with developing or refining large language models (LLMs), including post-training techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience in designing or implementing domain-specific languages (DSLs) or compilers.
