This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Cultivate and enhance community engagement and relationships with organizations, businesses, and partners within the Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, or Korean communities to facilitate research recruitment.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and participate in face-to-face activities to broaden research participation and foster community trust.
• Act as a liaison between the research team and community collaborators.
• Create, execute, and assess recruitment campaigns that are culturally and linguistically suitable.
• Translate recruitment announcements, informed consent documents, and communications for participants into Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, or Korean.
• Disseminate printed and digital recruitment materials via community organizations and events.
• Establish and sustain recruitment partnerships with community organizations, healthcare systems, advocacy groups, and cultural institutions.
• Oversee recruitment inquiries, engagement efforts, and feedback from stakeholders; provide updates and data-driven recommendations.
• Function as a subject matter expert regarding participant recruitment strategies.
• Maintain and analyze recruitment records and logs; generate progress reports.
• Collaborate with the research team to ensure adherence to institutional policies, protocols, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Report both administratively and functionally to the Assistant Dean.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline is mandatory.
• 5–7 years of pertinent nursing or research experience is preferred.
• Capability to convey intricate research concepts and findings to interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent writing skills for reports, documentation, and research summaries.
• Strong foundational knowledge in scientifically rigorous methodologies.
• Proficient analytical thinking and the ability to independently resolve data, workflow, or study-related issues.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, or Korean for community engagement and translation purposes.
