This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create algorithms for the utilization of sensor data in geospatial applications.
• Conduct the formation and analysis of imagery products, develop sophisticated signal processing tools for image comprehension and exploitation, and integrate data from various sources to improve insight.
• Engage in programming, algorithm creation, design, and execution of Electro-Optic and/or radar computational models and simulations, along with result analysis.
• Take part in laboratory activities, including the collection and analysis of sensor data.
• Additional responsibilities encompass defining software and system interfaces, system integration and testing, as well as providing field support for experiments and demonstrations.
• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related area with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and/or data collection activities.
• Experience related to radar systems, imaging sensors, image processing, and signal/data processing applications.
• Proficiency in software development using C and/or C++, as well as algorithm implementation in Python/MATLAB.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
