This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluates and categorizes incoming materials, including IRB submissions and COI disclosures.
• Performs pre-review of IRB submissions to identify federal agency oversight and assess for absent documentation.
• Executes specific non-committee IRB reviews.
• Facilitates the COI disclosure process, which includes initiating disclosure cycles and addressing non-compliance with disclosure deadlines.
• Analyzes and assesses COI disclosures in relation to research portfolios and institutional obligations, creating COI management plans.
• U.S. work authorization is mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required for this role.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in IRB and COI is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and other Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with electronic IRB and COI submission/review systems is required.
• Familiarity with federal regulations related to the ethical conduct of research and the safeguarding of human subjects.
• Understanding of federal regulations concerning conflict of interest.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Capability to multi-task while supporting various internal initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with a quick learning ability and attention to detail.
