This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Engage in and manage the administrative components of CHEER programs and grants.
• Collaborate with program participants, investigators, student research assistants, and research personnel.
• Aid in program recruitment and coordinate meeting schedules.
• Administer surveys and oversee program documentation.
• Input and update data, sustain databases, and generate reports.
• Maintain communication with participating sites to guarantee complete and timely data collection.
• Organize site files and assist in documenting grant financial and budgetary requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of data and other reports.
• Manage program records and communication needs effectively.
• Create reports, presentations, and perform data analyses.
• Develop and edit multimedia content, including short video clips, training videos, and digital resources.
• Plan, schedule, and distribute social media content across various platforms.
• Aid in data collection and provide progress updates.
• Review data collection forms and verify junior staff data entry.
• Offer technical guidance to junior staff members.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist in the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and research materials.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.
• Perform general office administrative tasks such as managing phones, emails, mail, supplies, faxes, scanning, filing, photocopying, and updating policy manuals.
• Bachelor’s degree is required by the time of hire.
• A major in a research-related field is highly preferred.
• At least one to two years of experience in the public health sector or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in recruiting research subjects and knowledge of ethical and technical research practices.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Bilingual in Spanish or multilingual skills are preferred.
• Cultural sensitivity and comfort working with diverse social, racial, and ethnic groups.
• Capability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic data management tasks, including coding, data entry, data cleaning, and retrieval.
• Competence in basic data analysis and reporting using text, numbers, and graphics.
• Experience in creating and managing social media content and content calendars.
• Proficient in graphic design and multimedia tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in editing short-form videos and producing educational or training videos for digital audiences.
• Must pass a background check prior to employment.
• Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu and receive a COVID-19 booster dose.
