This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform literature reviews to assist in research projects and proposal development activities.
• Prepare and clean datasets for analysis, which includes renaming variables, creating derived variables, and checking datasets for errors and missing values.
• Code and evaluate studies for research synthesis and evidence review initiatives.
• Execute quantitative and qualitative analyses, contributing to the reporting and interpretation of results.
• Facilitate communication and coordination with school and district leaders.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and tracking tools to support project activities.
• Aid in business development by researching funding opportunities, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in proposal development.
• Help identify, review, and create scholarly materials that communicate research findings.
• Prepare research products, presentations, and communication materials for dissemination and delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field.
• Familiarity with or experience in research methodologies and data collection methods, including research synthesis screening, survey design, structured interviews, observations, and focus groups.
• Experience with or willingness to learn communication tools and strategies, including social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a virtual work environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to work and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and external partners.
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.
