Research Assistant – Infectious Diseases

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts research experiments and assays.

• Assesses research outcomes, reports findings, and engages in discussions regarding project results with involved staff.

• Executes data entry tasks and maintains organized data files related to research.

• Manages tissue cultures, reagents, probe tests, and other related activities.

• Adheres to established safety protocols and keeps necessary documentation regarding laboratory and specimen conditions.

• Collaborates on research projects with various institutions and investigators.

• Engages in formulating hypotheses for testing and determining methods for evaluation.

• Aids in general supply and equipment orders, as well as lab maintenance and sanitation.

• Conducts literature reviews on designated topics.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted in lieu of the minimum education requirement.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Laboratory Operations.

• Proficient in Document Research skills.

• Familiarity with Laboratory Processes.

• Competent in Scientific Research methodologies.
