This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You convert high-level initiatives and requirements from Product Management into precise, actionable technical specifications and clear acceptance criteria.
• In close collaboration with the PM, you enhance and organize the product backlog.
• You facilitate Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) by creating high-quality scenarios (e.g., using Gherkin syntax) directly from the requirements.
• You manage our "glossary" and domain-specific terminology, organizing our internal knowledge base (Confluence) and maintaining guidelines, templates, user manuals, change logs, and API documentation.
• You collect input from PMs, Designers (mockups), Developers, and QA, transforming them into clarified business logic.
• You provide Developers and QA with detailed logic and edge cases, returning prepared requirements to the PM for evaluation.
• Several years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering, IT Business Analysis, or a comparable cross-functional role (preferably within a SaaS, insurance, or finance setting).
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
• Practical experience in creating test cases (e.g., BDD/Gherkin).
• Excellent analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into terminology that Developers and QA can readily utilize.
• A strong inclination towards structure, documentation ("Detail and Clarity"), and identifying edge cases before they evolve into development bottlenecks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, along with proficient German skills (B2) to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Practical experience with PM and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, API documentation platforms).
• 30 days of paid vacation, plus we grant you half a day off on December 24th and 31st.
• A personal development budget starting at €500 (potentially more), which we will use to collaboratively invest in your growth.
• A company subsidy for an Urban Sports Club membership to promote your work-life balance.
• A heavily subsidized company pension plan to help us optimally prepare for your future together.
• A VSOP program that allows you, as an employee, to additionally benefit from the company's success.
• Weekly company lunches and a fully stocked snack bar.
