Requirements Analyst, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the identification, elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation, and management of both functional and non-functional requirements for systems.

• Execute business process mapping and modeling to uncover improvement and optimization opportunities.

• Develop user stories, use cases, business rules, acceptance criteria, and other necessary artifacts for solution development.

• Take part in product backlog refinement, aiding in the prioritization and detailing of requests.

• Act as the liaison between business areas, the Product Owner, users, and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.

• Assist in designing solutions for new products, services, and system evolutions that align with business needs and established standards.

• Contribute to the validation of developed solutions by supporting UAT and confirming adherence to specified requirements.

• Map and document business processes utilizing modeling best practices.

• Facilitate elicitation, refinement, and validation meetings with stakeholders.

• Aid in identifying risks, impacts, and dependencies associated with requests.

• Maintain traceability between requirements, features, and delivered items.

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA analysts, UX designers, and other team members in an agile environment.

• Ensure compliance with the technical, methodological, and operational requirements outlined in contracts.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in identifying, defining, and documenting business processes and software requirements for implementation.

• Experience in eliciting, analyzing, and specifying both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Proven experience in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements artifacts.

• Familiarity with agile software development principles and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Understanding of requirements elicitation techniques.

• Experience in backlog management and refinement.

• Ability to interact and negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills for comprehending and modeling business rules.

• Preferred:

• Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation (BPM).

• Understanding of user experience (UX).

• Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq, or similar).

• Familiarity with UML.

• Basic knowledge of SQL for simple queries.

• Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger.

• Understanding of system integrations and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of application security.

• Experience in software development projects within the Public Administration (government) sector.
