This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide real-time reporting for the Benzinga Pro Newsdesk

• Enhance relevant news items with context and insights that affect stocks and currencies

• Discover news that others may not be able to find

• Assist Benzinga in becoming the premier source for investment and wealth-building information

• Craft breaking news headlines from company press releases, social media discussions, analyst reports, specific stock movements, and external news sources

• Monitor and develop various external data sources to gather news as quickly as possible

• Investigate, analyze, and report on the reasons behind fluctuations in stocks and currencies

• Engage with companies, investors, analysts, and government agencies for original reporting

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a financial media position, ideally within a newswire service

• Strong understanding of financial markets, stock markets, global events, and economic trends is essential

• Familiarity with foreign exchange trading and equities is highly advantageous

• Knowledge of Benzinga Pro and competing media outlets

• Capacity to work at a rapid pace for extended periods

• A strong desire to uncover and report news before it reaches the market

• Excellent typing proficiency (greater than 70 WPM)
