Rendering Optimization Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identify and address performance gaps in rendering, animal feeds, and blood operations, enhancing yield, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Create and oversee KPIs, using benchmarking to guide strategic operational choices and focus on the most valuable opportunities.

• Spearhead significant continuous improvement initiatives employing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

• Standardize and implement industry-leading practices across various facilities.

• Track and influence key performance indicators to ensure a consistent focus on results and operational integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering; or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• At least 2 years of proven experience in team management/development or project leadership.

• Proven success in lean manufacturing, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and statistical analysis.

• Motivated by the chance to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight stays.
