This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Offers technical direction for a specialized area and is recognized as a fully proficient expert in their discipline.
• Utilizes extensive and varied knowledge of engineering concepts and practices across a wide range of assignments and related sectors.
• Makes autonomous decisions regarding technical issues and methodologies, representing the organization at conferences.
• Addresses significant inquiries and organizes and coordinates work efforts.
• Involves the application of advanced techniques along with the adaptation and extension of theories, principles, and practices within the field and associated sciences and disciplines.
• BA/BS degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a proven equivalence of experience and/or education.
• The applicant must be a US citizen or a permanent resident and live within the US mainland.
• The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Over 9 years of experience in environmental investigations and site remediation is preferred.
• Familiarity with CERCLA and RCRA remediation programs at complex sites is preferred.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations Training is preferred.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Professional Engineering License (PE Certified) is preferred.
