Remarketing Auction Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Proactively oversee and assess vendor performance, ensuring compliance with company standards, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

• Manage regional inventory by tracking transport status, evaluating certification inspections, grading vehicles, estimating reconditioning costs, preparing for sales, and approving bids.

• Perform on-site evaluations of auction processes, inventory preparation, and overall sale effectiveness.

• Schedule regular meetings with vendors alongside auction management and relevant teams to review scorecards and reports, ensuring follow-up on any performance shortcomings.

• Negotiate arbitration claims when required, in consultation with senior management.

• Identify and leverage market arbitrage opportunities.

• Conduct audits of auction-related expenses and announcements.

• Track and report travel-related expenses in line with company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant automotive or remarketing experience is required.

• Familiarity with vehicle valuation, reconditioning evaluations, and wholesale remarketing channels.

• Understanding of macro and regional socio-economic factors, seasonality, and significant automotive trends impacting used vehicle pricing.

• Capability to work independently under time constraints and manage competing deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.

• Adaptability in job functions and the ability to embrace procedural changes.

• Proficient PC skills, with experience across multiple platforms.

• Knowledge of NAAA auction policies is highly desirable.

• Experience in frame assessments or writing condition reports is preferred.
