
Remarketing Auction Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the inventory of repossessed vehicles and manage relationships with auction vendors.
• Continuously monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Offer corrective actions and recommendations as needed.
• Supervise regional inventory, which includes tracking transport status, reviewing certification inspections, vehicle grading, reconditioning estimates, and preparation for sales.
• Authorize sale bids.
• Perform on-site evaluations of auction processes, inventory preparation, and sale effectiveness.
• Arrange regular meetings with auction management and relevant staff to discuss vendor status.
• Analyze scorecards and other performance reporting.
• Coordinate follow-up actions on any performance deficiencies.
• Negotiate arbitration claims when necessary, in consultation with senior management.
• Recognize and implement market arbitrage opportunities.
• Audit auction expenses and announcements.
• Manage and report travel expenses in alignment with company policies.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college experience.
• Required: At least 5 years of relevant automotive or remarketing experience.
• Familiarity with vehicle valuation, reconditioning assessments, and wholesale remarketing channels.
• Understanding of macro and region-level social and economic factors, seasonality, and key automotive trends related to used vehicle pricing.
• Capable of working independently under time constraints and competing deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable in job functionality and able to assimilate procedural changes effectively.
• Proficient in PC skills and capable of working across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of NAAA auction policies is highly desirable.
• Experience in frame assessment or condition report writing is preferred.
