This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in reliability initiatives with customers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and internal teams.
• Create and uphold maintenance standards, plans, and best practices.
• Evaluate equipment availability and performance data, ensuring precise reporting.
• Detect technical challenges and aid in continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform root cause analysis and assist in projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability.
• Formulate procedures, processes, and technical documentation.
• Examine product issues and collaborate with OEMs on solutions.
• Compile technical reports and relay findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze oil sample results and communicate any concerns as necessary.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers and aid in the development of maintenance strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• Eligible for or actively pursuing Engineer-In-Training (EIT) designation.
• Familiarity with equipment reliability principles.
• Capability to interpret equipment designs, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively evaluate risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to cultivate effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience related to reliability is considered advantageous.
