This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage all necessary components to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Liaise with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions.
• Organize documents, submissions, and related paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.
• Implement Financial Means Tests as needed to enhance patients’ prescription drug coverage.
• Manage pharmacy processes once funding has been secured.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.
• Report all Adverse Events to designated units or departments.
• Execute additional duties and tasks as necessary.
• Post-secondary education or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• Two-year associate's degree or a combination of experience and education equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in customer service within an office environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
• Professional, courteous, and effective telephone communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask to meet competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution sector.
• Familiarity with an automated warehouse operating system.
• Solid business and financial insight.
