Regulatory Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist with the daily operations of PECOS filings, vendor regulatory documentation, and provider credentialing tasks.

• Prepare and submit PECOS enrollments, revalidations, and updates under guidance.

• Gather, organize, and maintain necessary documentation regarding ownership, managing employees, and practice locations.

• Monitor CMS and MAC correspondence and aid in preparing responses.

• Collect and keep essential regulatory documentation for vendors and contractors.

• Track expiration dates and ensure timely updates for required certifications and attestations.

• Support the preparation of regulatory onboarding and offboarding documentation.

• Assist with credentialing processes, including license verification, certification tracking, and management of documentation.

• Maintain credentialing files and ensure they meet enrollment and payer standards.

• Monitor expiration dates and inform leadership about upcoming renewals.

• Maintain regulatory trackers, calendars, and filing logs.

• Ensure that records are organized, complete, and ready for audit.

• Assist with internal audits and data validation assessments.

• Collaborate with HR, Compliance, Operations, and Revenue Cycle to obtain required information.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field is required.

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare regulatory operations, credentialing, or enrollment support is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines are necessary.

• Hands-on PECOS experience is preferred.

• Experience in supporting Medicare enrollment or credentialing in post-acute care settings is advantageous.

• Familiarity with document management systems is desired.
