Regulatory Law Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop evaluation tasks for AI systems that function within the realms of regulatory compliance and government affairs.

• Design scenarios that encompass regulatory compliance program creation, agency investigations, enforcement actions, and rulemaking or commentary processes.

• Create tasks related to sectors such as financial services, healthcare and FDA, antitrust and competition, data privacy and cybersecurity, and environmental and energy regulation.

• Formulate scenarios that involve regulatory tracking platforms, compliance management systems, and agency filing systems.

• Implement regulatory interpretation, compliance risk assessment, and strategies for enforcement response.

• Address US administrative law and agency-specific statutes and regulations, as well as international EU and UK regulatory systems.

• Generate reference compliance memoranda, regulatory submissions, and documents related to enforcement responses.

• Draft rubrics that differentiate genuine regulatory judgment from standard law school or bar exam-level recall.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a regulatory attorney or compliance counsel at a prominent law firm, regulated organization, or governmental agency.

• Direct responsibility for regulatory compliance programs, interactions with agencies, or enforcement issues.

• Proficiency in regulatory tools.

• Knowledge of the administrative process and agency rulemaking.

• Expertise in US regulatory law or international EU/UK regulatory frameworks; experience in one or both areas is encouraged.

• A recognized professional credential, such as a JD with bar admission or an international equivalent, is highly preferred.

• Previous authorship of rubrics, training materials, or compliance documentation is advantageous.
