This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop evaluation tasks for AI systems functioning within regulatory compliance and government affairs domains.
• Create scenarios that encompass the design of regulatory compliance programs, agency investigations, enforcement actions, and processes for rulemaking or public comments.
• Design tasks related to sectors such as financial services, healthcare and FDA, antitrust and competition, data privacy and cybersecurity, as well as environmental and energy regulation.
• Formulate scenarios that involve regulatory tracking platforms, compliance management systems, and agency filing systems.
• Utilize regulatory law methodologies in accordance with both US and International standards tracks.
• Generate reference compliance memoranda, regulatory filings, and documents for enforcement responses.
• Create rubrics that differentiate genuine regulatory judgment from standard law school or bar exam recall.
• Partner with prominent researchers on projects aimed at AI training and enhancement.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a regulatory attorney or compliance counsel in a major law firm, regulated company, or government agency.
• Direct responsibility for regulatory compliance programs, interactions with agencies, or enforcement issues.
• Proficiency in regulatory tooling.
• Knowledge of administrative processes and agency rulemaking.
• In-depth understanding of US regulatory frameworks, including the Administrative Procedure Act and specific SEC, FDA, and FTC statutes and regulations, as well as International frameworks like EU regulations and directives and UK regulatory systems.
• A recognized professional qualification is highly preferred, such as a JD with bar admission or an equivalent international credential.
• Experience in creating rubrics, training materials, or compliance documentation is advantageous.
