This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and submit applications to national communications regulatory agencies, including technical exhibits.
• Collaborate with national, regional, and international regulatory organizations regarding spectrum and other technical matters.
• Assist in satellite coordination activities, encompassing spectrum analysis and sharing methodologies for MSS networks.
• Advocate for enhanced regulatory frameworks related to satellite and telecommunications technologies.
• Create and promote technical regulations that align with the organization’s business goals.
• Represent the organization at both domestic and international regulatory meetings and industry conferences.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on policy and industry trends impacting technical outcomes.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; a graduate degree is advantageous.
• Between three to eight years of experience in technology, particularly in wireless technologies.
• A demonstrated passion for wireless technology.
• Familiarity with regional technology and policy matters relevant to wireless and/or satellite companies.
• Technical proficiency in satellite link budgets, mobile device standards, and wireless technologies.
• Understanding of spectrum and industry norms in wireless or satellite communications.
• Interest and/or experience in collaborating with regulators, policymakers, and government entities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail to guarantee accuracy in documentation and project outputs.
