Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee and analyze gambling regulations across various jurisdictions.

• Assist with licensing processes, audits, regulatory submissions, and reporting.

• Facilitate communication with regulators and keep compliance records updated.

• Provide guidance to internal teams regarding compliance responsibilities and regulatory standards.

• Direct and uphold the company’s data protection strategy and ensure compliance with GDPR.

• Enhance privacy procedures, policies, and internal controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in iGaming regulatory compliance, preferably within B2B gaming, operators, legal, or advisory settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of gambling regulations in markets such as the UK, Greece, Sweden, Peru, Gibraltar, Romania, Ontario, and the Isle of Man.

• Familiarity with licensing, audits, regulatory reporting, and communications with regulators.

• Knowledge of GDPR and other privacy legislations.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to interpret regulatory changes and translate them into actionable steps.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at collaborating within international teams.

• Preferred: Experience in market entry projects and compliance gap assessments.

• Practical experience in data privacy management (DPIAs, RoPA, data mapping, retention policies).

• Relevant legal, compliance, or privacy certifications.
