Registered Nurse, Weekender, PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Participates in unit councils, professional governance, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care processes.

• Employs the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

• Observes patient conditions and modifies care plans as necessary.

• Works collaboratively with the care team to impact care outcomes positively.

• Fosters and advocates for a culture of safety.

• Ensures precise and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

• May be required to float to different units as needed.

• Must be capable of responding swiftly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Active registered nurse (RN) license, either multi-state compact or single-state.

• Generally requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Exhibits time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficient in using computer functions such as email, electronic records, and digital platforms.

• Must be able to showcase the knowledge and skills required to provide care appropriate to the patients' age served.
