Registered Nurse, Clinical Documentation Specialist – CDIP, CCDS Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance the overall quality and thoroughness of clinical documentation.

• Facilitate changes to clinical documentation through collaboration with medical personnel.

• Educate members of the patient care team on documentation practices.

• Perform ongoing follow-up reviews to ensure documentation compliance.

• Work together with coding staff to assign appropriate working DRGs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid RN Licensure in the State of Georgia.

• Associate's Degree required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional nursing practice.

• CCDS or CDIP certification is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

• Experience in Healthcare Utilization and Revenue Management is preferred.

• Knowledge of ICD10 coding conventions, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.

• Understanding of DRG coding optimization strategies and clinical documentation requirements.
