This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess AI-generated clinical outputs by reviewing inpatient nursing flowsheet documentation.
• Analyze documentation for precision, thoroughness, compliance with current nursing standards, and accurate representation of nursing findings.
• Detect missing information, discrepancies, and potentially unsafe conclusions using bedside clinical judgment.
• Annotate and organize adult inpatient nursing assessment data for AI training datasets.
• Consistently apply detailed annotation guidelines and identify ambiguous cases needing clarification.
• Offer feedback to enhance annotation guidelines and evaluation criteria.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy and considerations related to patient safety.
• Identify gaps, contradictions, and potential risks in model-generated clinical information.
• Provide written explanations to support clinical evaluation decisions.
• Assist in establishing standards for evaluating healthcare AI performance.
• Contribute to the development of clinical evaluation benchmarks.
• Review AI outputs utilizing structured scoring and quality assurance frameworks.
• Identify recurring model errors and complex clinical edge cases.
• Collaborate with project teams to enhance evaluation methods and model performance.
• Deliver domain-expert feedback based on real-world inpatient nursing experience.
• Must possess an active U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license, excluding California.
• Recent experience in adult acute-care inpatient bedside nursing, preferably in a non-procedural specialty.
• Clinical experience within the last 5–10 years is required.
• Strong understanding of current nursing workflows and documentation practices.
• Proficient in conducting and documenting comprehensive nursing assessments.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing flowsheets and bedside clinical documentation.
• Ability to consistently adhere to detailed annotation and evaluation guidelines.
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen attention to clinical detail.
• Capability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with Epic EHR is highly regarded.
• Background in chart review, quality improvement, utilization review, clinical documentation integrity, or clinical informatics is advantageous.
• Previous involvement in clinical annotation, chart abstraction, healthcare AI, or structured medical-data review is especially relevant.
• Comfortable with learning new annotation tools and web-based platforms.
• Work must be conducted without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, healthcare organization, patient, client, institution, or other third party.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
