Registered Dietitian, RD/RDN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough nutrition evaluations through virtual consultations.

• Offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and associated chronic illnesses; create personalized nutrition care strategies.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling utilizing behavior-change methodologies.

• Enhance patient engagement through effective communication; escalate clinical issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and care coordinators; engage in care planning and case reviews as required.

• Record encounters, assessments, and care plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); proficiently use telehealth and patient engagement technologies.

• Uphold licensure standards, ensure HIPAA compliance, and complete necessary training and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential in good standing.

• Valid Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian (CD) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) license in the states of practice.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline.

• Clinical or ambulatory experience in providing nutrition counseling or MNT (required).

• Experience in obesity, weight management, chronic conditions, and telehealth (preferred).

• Strong skills in patient-centered counseling and documentation; comfortable working within interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms; access to reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
