This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Provide continuous nutrition support to assist patients in transforming unhealthy eating patterns into a positive relationship with food.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans through telehealth nutrition assessments, meal plans, and target weight range evaluations.
• Facilitate exposure to challenging or fear-inducing foods.
• Communicate meal plans and nutrition-related concerns to team members while educating them on how to address nutrition-related issues.
• Reflect treatment team directives in interactions with families.
• Support discharge planning activities.
• Weekly update treatment plans based on patient progress, goals, assignments, and concerns.
• Reevaluate nutritional needs and provide recommendations to the treatment team and families.
• Offer evidence-based nutrition education to address irrational thoughts and beliefs about food, nutrition, weight, and body shape.
• Build therapeutic relationships with families, incorporating rapport building, boundary setting, and collaborative alliances.
• Accurately document care in Equip’s electronic medical record system.
• Participate in mandatory meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must possess a license in Tennessee.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) is required.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is mandatory.
• Experience with eating disorders is preferred.
• Familiarity with family-based approaches to eating disorder treatment is a plus but not required.
• Capability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients, with each patient receiving care for as long as 52 weeks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams are essential.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
• Must be organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to balance clinical priorities with business needs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and innovative environment.
• Availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care is required.
• Must be available for a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in patients’ time zones throughout the week.
• Willingness to work until 8 pm two evenings per week.
• Attendance at mandatory meetings is necessary.
• Providers must be licensed or registered as required in every state where they deliver care.
