This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert (SME) on nutrition, dietary planning, and regulatory compliance for senior living, skilled nursing, and clinical residential facilities.
• Create menus that satisfy nutritional standards, resident requirements, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., CMS, USDA, state-specific regulations).
• Assist clients in personalizing menus to accommodate dietary restrictions, therapeutic diets, and individual preferences.
• Assess recipes for ingredient accuracy and scaling, while incorporating modifications for various diet types and textures.
• Work in conjunction with Aline’s product development team to advance the dietary software’s functionalities, ensuring it remains a top-tier solution for senior living and healthcare providers.
• Provide user feedback and industry perspectives to influence product improvements and new features.
• Help develop educational resources, training modules, and webinars for clients to optimize their software usage.
• Collaborate closely with customer success and sales teams to inform clients about the software’s dietary functionalities and best practices.
• Offer consulting services and guidance to senior living operators seeking to enhance their menu planning and nutritional programs.
• Deliver training sessions and resources for clients and internal teams on dietary compliance, nutrition standards, and menu optimization.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification is required. Additionally, obtaining a license in individual states may be necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior living, skilled nursing, healthcare, and/or food service environments, with a focus on menu planning and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in menu development, dietary planning, recipe assessment, and therapeutic diet adjustments in clinical or residential contexts.
• Strong comprehension of nutrition regulations and compliance directives (CMS, USDA, state-specific dietary guidelines, etc.).
• Experience with food service management software or a willingness to gain expertise in technology-driven dietary solutions.
• Ability to translate clinical dietary knowledge into software-based solutions that improve customer outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and client interaction skills, coupled with a dedication to training and education.
• Experience in or collaboration with software companies, SaaS organizations, or technology-focused entities is advantageous, though not mandatory.
