This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, oversee, and assess behavior programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Ensure quality assurance by providing staff training, evaluation, and assisting in program development.
• Create programming informed by initial and ongoing assessments.
• Review and adjust programming as necessary.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board guidelines and FIREFLY policies and procedures.
• Advocate for clients regarding services, equipment, and funding.
• Collaborate with community-based service providers and agencies to address identified needs and enhance care delivery.
• Serve as a resource for FIREFLY staff and community organizations.
• Extensive travel is required.
• A Master's Degree in Behaviour Analysis or Psychology is mandatory.
• Certification from the Behaviour Analysts Certification Board is preferred; certification in progress will be taken into account.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in training and/or supervising others to deliver behavior analytics is essential.
• Proven competency in conducting and overseeing behavior assessments and treatments for children and youth with ASD.
• Advanced understanding of autism, developmental disabilities, and clinical assessment tools is required.
• Proficient in writing clinical reports that summarize client strengths, needs, and recommendations.
• Capable of analyzing and synthesizing data.
• Effective communication skills in both official languages is a plus.
• Participation in the agency's leadership activities is required.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills, with experience working with children and youth with developmental concerns and/or ASD and their families.
• Superior interpersonal abilities coupled with experience as part of a diverse and collaborative team.
• Must be able to travel between service delivery locations in both urban and rural environments.
• Creative ability to work with clients both individually and in group settings.
• Sensitivity to the needs of parents/caregivers and the capability to support and involve them in programming.
• Strong communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
