This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new wholesale fuel customers in designated regions.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand both branded (such as Shell, Citgo, Marathon, Sunoco) and unbranded fuel portfolios.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover competitive opportunities and identify dealer prospects.
• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and participation in trade shows.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience from initial interaction to contract signing.
• Collaborate with internal teams—supply, dispatch, credit, and legal—to finalize product supply contracts and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Maintain ongoing relationships to enhance customer retention and drive volume growth.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, supply agreements, and renewal terms.
• Provide weekly performance updates to management regarding metrics, market activities, and competitive insights.
• 3–5 years of experience in fuel sales, petroleum distribution, or energy marketing (preferred).
• Understanding of branded and unbranded fuel supply chains, rack pricing, allocations, and relationships with haulers.
• Demonstrated success in new business development, negotiation, and long-term account management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
