Regional Vice President – Western US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Directly accountable for leadership and P&L management in a designated region.

• Provide guidance through coaching, mentoring, and developing District and/or Branch Managers while ensuring accountability.

• Ensure that business goals are achieved in key performance areas such as Employee Experience, Customer Experience, and Sustainability (Safety + Environmental + Economic).

• Collaborate and oversee the successful integration of new mergers.

• Enhance branch management's understanding and capability in managing their P&L effectively.

• Maintain a strong partnership with finance to monitor financially challenged branches/markets, formulating detailed countermeasures and recovery strategies for each market.

• Participate in and occasionally lead the Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).

• Offer coaching and support to District Managers and/or Branch Managers.

• Identify under-performing Sales Arborists and collaborate with District and Branch Managers and Regional Sales to provide training, coaching, and improve sales effectiveness.

• Ensure that each branch is adequately staffed and fostering a culture of safety led by employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent professional experience; an advanced degree or MBA is highly preferred.

• 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in managing a team with P&L accountability, ideally in a high transaction B-to-C and/or B-to-B customer-focused business.

• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire performance across all levels, from front-line staff to management within a distributed workforce.

• Proven capability to lead, manage, and drive results effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to excel in a high-pressure, excellence-driven, and growth-oriented environment.

• Valid U.S. Driver’s license required.

• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
