This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee, expand, and nurture a designated sales territory in the Southeast United States.
• Serve existing clients, secure orders, and establish new accounts by strategically planning and organizing daily work schedules to reach out to current and prospective clients.
• Tailor sales presentation content by assessing the specific needs of each customer.
• Keep management updated by providing activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses and budgets for the territory.
• Track competitors by collecting current market data on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising strategies.
• Suggest modifications in products, services, and policies based on performance evaluations and competitive trends.
• Address customer complaints by investigating issues, formulating solutions, preparing reports, and offering recommendations to clients based on lab insights.
• Enhance professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, building personal networks, and engaging in professional organizations.
• Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives as necessary.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Eight to ten years of experience in manufacturing sales or a related market sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of adhesives and the ability to communicate adhesive-related issues to the Evans lab and manufacturing when required.
• Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals.
• Proven capability to acquire new business.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to convey the Evans Value Proposition effectively.
• Positive demeanor and strong collaboration skills with team members.
• Proficient in negotiating customer contracts.
• Self-motivated and confident.
• In-depth product knowledge of packaging adhesives, including hot melts and water-based products.
• Proficient with computer applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capable of delivering professional presentations to both existing and potential clients.
