This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a team of Sales Representatives to execute sales strategies, meet sales goals, and ultimately enhance revenue and profitability.
• Cultivate and develop a high-performing sales team through effective recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
• Responsible for surpassing productivity and financial objectives while ensuring safety is prioritized in all operations.
• Achieve or exceed goals in sales, territory expansion, and customer development.
• Establish, maintain, and grow sales with current Distribution Partnerships in the Northeastern US region.
• Implement the DuBois Professional Selling methodology, DCRM (DuBois Customer Relationship Management), and related tools.
• Oversee the sales management system, including team and individual meetings.
• Foster key account growth through both individual efforts and collaborative teamwork across various regions and countries.
• Implement price increases and profit enhancement initiatives across the team.
• Build productive relationships and conduct formal customer reviews with key clients on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and the corporate key accounts team to boost cross-selling efforts.
• Identify potential challenges and opportunities, applying creativity and insights to develop effective solutions.
• Create successful territories by formulating “Territory Business Plans” with Sales Representatives to enhance market penetration across the full company product line.
• Encourage teamwork through collaboration and cooperation with sales representatives, peers, and service technicians to fulfill the company’s vision, mission, and strategy.
• Engage in effective communication with direct reports, colleagues, and customers, utilizing strong oral, interpersonal, body language, and active listening skills to build trust and transparency.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Chemistry, or a related technical field is required; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of proven success in industrial business-to-business (B2B) sales, including strategic, technical, and leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in key account management and multi-relationship customer development.
• Skilled in cost analysis and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, utilizing a consultative sales approach.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a successful track record in key roles.
• Knowledge of essential safety skills pertinent to the position, including Driver Safety, Slip, Trip and Fall Safety, PPE Use, and Lockout, Confined Space, and Tagout Procedures.
• Familiarity with “Conceptual” and “Strategic” selling principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services, including understanding buying influences and managing expectations.
• Industry knowledge and understanding of chemistry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight trips.
